A parallel GPS satellite positioning algorithm based on broadcast ephemeris

2015 8th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing (CISP), 2015
GPS is an all-round, all-weather, real-time satellite navigation and positioning system. GPS satellite positioning based on broadcast ephemeris is to calculate satellite coordinates using relevant parameters obtained from broadcast ephemeris after broadcast ephemeris were analyzed.

Accuracy Analysis of BDS-3 Experiment Satellite Broadcast Ephemeris

2018
Currently, five BDS-3 experiment satellites are transmitting both BDS-2 signals and new signals for users. They are equipped with high-precision rubidium or/and passive hydrogen maser clocks. In view of the inconsistency of BDS-3 experiment satellites signals received by iGMAS and MGEX network, the experiment to determine BDS-3 orbits is carried out by

Doppler shift estimation using broadcast ephemeris in satellite optical communication

2016 25th Wireless and Optical Communication Conference (WOCC), 2016
There is severe Doppler shift in satellite optical communication, which greatly affects the coherent demodulation and should be eliminated. This paper is a preliminary study of the optical phase-locked loop, using the broadcast ephemeris to estimate the Doppler shift and pulling it down into a range in which it can be captured by digital processing.

An 18-element GEO broadcast ephemeris based on non-singular elements

GPS Solutions, 2014
Compass/Beidou2 uses uniform GPS-type broadcast ephemerides for its mixed constellation, which consists of geostationary earth orbit (GEO), inclined geosynchronous orbit and medium earth orbit satellites. The ephemeris parameters adopted by Compass are singular for the small inclinations of GEOs, and some intermediate orbital planes are currently used ...

Autonomous broadcast ephemeris improvement for GNSS using inter-satellite ranging measurements

Advances in Space Research, 2012
Abstract This paper discusses the concept of using inter-satellite ranging (ISR) measurements of the satellites of a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) for autonomous broadcast ephemeris improvement. Firstly the inter-satellite ranging is modeled to obtain the clock and orbit error observables.

Optimal design of broadcast ephemeris parameters for a navigation satellite system

GPS Solutions, 2011
Computation of broadcast ephemerides is a fundamental task in satellite navigation and positioning. The GPS constellation is composed of medium-earth-orbit (MEO) satellites, and therefore can employ a uniform parameter set to produce broadcast ephemerides.

Fitting Method and Accuracy Analysis of Broadcast Ephemeris in Hybrid Constellation

2014
Broadcast ephemeris parameter is an important reflection of navigation system service performance. In hybrid constellation, GEO, IGSO and MEO satellites have different dynamic characteristics which lead to different fitting performances. In this article, the basic physical meaning of ephemeris parameters are analyzed, and the evaluation for the ...

Real-Time Determination of a BDS Satellite's Velocity Using the Broadcast Ephemeris

2014 Fourth International Conference on Instrumentation and Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control, 2014
This paper studies the algorithms for determining a BDS satellite's velocity using the broadcast ephemeri. Firstly, by taking the time derivatives of the Kepler orbit elements and the correction terms, the algorithm comprises close-form analysis formulas and the processing steps for directly computing a BDS satellite's instant velocity using the ...
