Distributed MIMO coding scheme with low decoding complexity for future mobile TV broadcasting [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A novel distributed space-time block code (STBC) for the next generation mobile TV broadcasting is proposed. The new code provides efficient performance within a wide range of power imbalance showing strong adaptivity to the single frequency network (SFN)

Operational lifetimes of organic light-emitting diodes dominated by Förster resonance energy transfer

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
Organic light-emitting diodes are a key technology for next-generation information displays because of their low power consumption and potentially long operational lifetimes.

Unravelling the electron injection/transport mechanism in organic light-emitting diodes

open access: yesNature Communications, 2021
Understanding the role electron injection and transport in organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) is critical for optimizing device performance. Here, the authors elucidate the electron injection/transport mechanism in OLEDs and identify the cathode ...

No-local-broadcasting theorem for quantum correlations

open access: yes, 2007
We prove that the correlations present in a multipartite quantum state have an \emph{operational} quantum character as soon as the state does not simply encode a multipartite classical probability distribution, i.e.

Performance evaluation of flooding in MANETs in the presence of multi-broadcast traffic [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Broadcasting has many important uses and several mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) protocols assume the availability of an underlying broadcast service. Applications, which make use of broadcasting, include LAN emulation, paging a particular node. However,

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Superbroadcasting of continuous variables mixed states

open access: yes, 2006
We consider the problem of broadcasting quantum information encoded in the average value of the field from N to M>N copies of mixed states of radiation modes.
