Tailoring the Properties of Functional Materials With N‐Oxides
The properties of materials bearing N‐oxide groups are often dominated by the polar N+─O− bond. It provides hydrophilicity, selective ion‐binding, electric conductivity, or antifouling properties. Many of the underlying mechanisms have only recently been discovered, and the interest in N‐oxide materials is rapidly growing.

About products of interaction of holmium chloride and bromide with carbamide
The synthesis and data of the study of new complexes of samarium bromides with carbamide, [Ho(Ur)4(H2O)4]Br3 (I), [Ho(Ur)6(H2O)2]Br3 (II) and [Ho(Ur)4Cl3] (III), by IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis are presented.

Complementary Logic Driven by Dielectrophoretic Assembly of 2D Semiconductors

In the title compound, C(6)H(7)ClN(+)·Br(-), the amino N atom is protonated. All non-H atoms of the cation are essentially coplanar [r.m.s. deviation = 0.004 (3) Å]. In the crystal, N-H⋯Br hydrogen bonds connect the ions, forming a ribbon-like structure propagating along [010].
