A total of seven patients with bronchial carcinoids were treated at our hospital during the period from 1975 to 1991. Debut of symptoms varied from eight months to ten years before diagnosis. Cough, copious mucus, hemoptysis and recurrent lobar pneumonias were common. Six tumours were identified by chest X-ray.
