Visible Light Enhanced Degradation of Sulfamethoxazole by Beta Zeolite/TiO2 Photocatalyst
The mechanism describes photocatalyst and the influence of the band gap separation in the generation of free radical for the degradation of the targeted organic molecule. The zeolite/TiO2 composite structure enhances the generation of oxygen free radicals responsible for the intercation with SMX and subsequent degradation.
