Glimpses of the Third Millennium BC in the Carpathian Basin [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The relative and absolute chronology of the cultural groups of the 3rd millennium BC is a particularly exciting field of prehistoric research because this period spans the assumed boundary of two major periods — the final phase of the Copper Age and ...

Deployable 3D‐Printed Vascular Stent with Surface‐Catalysed Endogenous Nitric Oxide Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A deployable 3D‐printed vascular stent was fabricated with surface‐catalyzed endogenous nitric oxide generation, representing a promising new direction for stent development. The stent can be remotely controlled by magnetic force in its compressed state and fully deployed at the target site using an untethered heat source, potentially eliminating the ...

Field‐Effect Transistors from Artificial Charged Domain Walls in Stacked Van der Waals Ferroelectric α‐In2Se3

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study utilizes the van der Waals stacking of ferroelectric α$\alpha$‐In2Se3 to fabricate in‐plane artificial charged domain walls. These charged domain walls are electrically accessible, gate‐tunable, and show 2–9 orders of magnitude higher conductance than charged domain walls from thin film ferroelectrics, allowing their integration in field ...
