One‐Step Thermo‐Mechanochemical Syntheses of Metal Phthalocyanines and Polyphthalocyanines

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Accepted Article.
We present a thermo‐mechanochemical synthesis of metal phthalocyanines with varying metal centers and building blocks. The reactions were performed using a Retsch Mixer Mill 400 equipped with heating jackets, achieving quantitative yields at 120 °C within 2 hours.

Mono‐ IrIII versus heterobimetallic IrIII‐AuI complexes for circularly polarized luminescence

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Accepted Article.
Fundamental rationalization of the structural–circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) activity relationship is a challenging task. Herein, a pair of enantiopure, heterobimetallic IrIII–AuI complexes IrAu‐4 featuring chirality‐at‐metal is thoroughly investigated by means of spectroscopical and computational techniques, also including spin‐orbital ...

Study on the effect of co‐plasticization of post‐industrial starch for high‐impact thermoplastic starch development

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
High‐impact thermoplastic starch blends through the co‐plasticization methodology. Abstract This study analyzed the effect of employing plasticized or co‐plasticized post‐industrial starch in developing PBAT‐based thermoplastic starch (TPS) blends. In this work, the post‐industrial wheat starch was co‐plasticized with glycerol‐urea, glycerol‐citric ...
