Random fluctuations will be a major factor interfering with the operation of nanometer scale electronic devices. This article presents circuit architectures that can exploit such fluctuations, if signals have a particle-like (discrete, token-based) character.

Brownian Motion of an Ellipsoid
Science, 2006We studied the Brownian motion of isolated ellipsoidal particles in water confined to two dimensions and elucidated the effects of coupling between rotational and translational motion. By using digital video microscopy, we quantified the crossover from short-time anisotropic to long-time isotropic diffusion and directly measured probability ...

On the Inverses of Brownian and Brownian-Like Matrices
Mathematical Notes, 2004In several papers by F. Valvi, sufficient conditions are given for Brownian and Brownian-like matrices to have Hessenberg inverses. We interpret these conditions from the viewpoint of familiar facts related to matrices of small triangular rank. This allows us to formulate more general assertions on the Hessenberg property of the inverse.

Brownian Motion Confined in a Brownian Surface
JPSJ News and Comments, 2020A researcher has developed a new theory to describe the Brownian motion of a small object that is confined in a fluctuating random surface, such as a biological membrane.

Brownian hareketi ve brownian yüzeyler
2021The aim of this study is to make an investigation about Brownian motion. At first, Brownian motion process and Brown function (the record) are explained inthis study. Then ?random walk in one dimension? depended parameters t (the time)and δ (the step-length) is defined and made a scaling property analysis related tothis process.
