Brown cornea

Graefe's Archive for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology, 2008
A brown cornea is relatively rare. We report a case of progressive brown corneal pigmentation in a patient with a primary acquired melanosis of the conjunctiva. Later the patient developed an iris melanoma.Case report with clinico-pathological correlation and discussion of possible mechanisms of particle clearance of the cornea.A 36-year-old female ...

AAC Brown 18 brown mustard

Canadian Journal of Plant Science, 2018
AAC Brown 18 is the first brown mustard [Brassica juncea (L.) Czern.] hybrid variety developed using an improved Ogura cytoplasmic male sterility hybrid system at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada — Saskatoon Research and Development Centre (AAFC-SRDC). AAC Brown 18 has significantly higher (24%) yield than the check variety Centennial Brown.

On the Brown conjecture

Celestial Mechanics, 1984
In 1911 E. W. Brown conjectured that the family of long-periodic orbits in the Trojan case of the restricted problem of three bodies terminates in an asymptotic orbit that passes through the Langrangian point L3 for t=±∞. The paper refutes this conjecture analytically, thereby confirming the previously published numerical refutation by Henrard (1983).

Black on Brown

SSRN Electronic Journal, 2004
The most important and illuminating early writing on Brown v. Bd. of Education is a nine-page essay by Charles Black. Black memorably shows that segregation was a crucial part of a racial caste system. At the same time, he cuts through legal abstractions that made it difficult to answer the question whether the Court’s decision was sufficiently ...

Brown/Brownness/Mestizaje

2022
The representation of both individuality and collectivity in Latina/o literatures can be understood in terms of racial representation as well as in relation to colonial and neocolonial Weltanschauungen or worldviews. The colonial past of Spanish/Latin America imposed economic and biopolitical conditions based on a casta system that assigned different ...

On Brown's conjecture

Celestial Mechanics, 1983
Summary: We examine the conjecture made by Brown (1911) that in the restricted three body problem, the long period family of periodic orbits around \(L_ 4\), ends on a homoclinic orbit to \(L_ 3\). By numerical integration we establish that for the mass ratio Sun-Jupiter such a homoclinic orbit to \(L_ 3\) does not exist but that there exists a family ...

Centennial Brown brown condiment mustard

Canadian Journal of Plant Science, 2009
Brown condiment mustard (Common Brown) has about 10% lower grain yield than oriental condiment mustard (yellow seeded), which both belong to the same species [Brassica juncea (L.) Czern.]. Yield improvements in brown condiment mustard are therefore of great importance.

Browning on the Plains

2014
My research paper is an exploration of the poet Robert Browning's popularity in the Western United States and more particularly Laramie, Wyoming. The paper argues that Browning's use of universality endeared him to the readers of the American West as they sought to understand themselves and other Western settlers.
