BRST-ANTIFIELD QUANTIZATION: A SHORT REVIEW [PDF]
Most of the known models describing the fundamental interactions have a gauge freedom. In the standard path integral, it is necessary to "fix the gauge" in order to avoid integrating over unphysical degrees of freedom. Gauge independence might then become a tricky issue, especially when the structure of the gauge symmetries is intricate.

Nilpotent Symmetries of a Model of 2D Diffeomorphism Invariant Theory: BRST Approach
Within the framework of the Becchi‐Rouet‐Stora‐Tyutin (BRST) formalism, we discuss the full set of proper BRST and anti‐BRST transformations for a 2D diffeomorphism invariant theory which is described by the Lagrangian density of a standard bosonic string. The above (anti‐)BRST transformations are off‐shell nilpotent and absolutely anticommuting.

Lattice Gauge Fixing, Gribov Copies and BRST Symmetry [PDF]
We show that a modification of the BRST lattice quantization allows to circumvent an old paradox, formulated by Neuberger, related to lattice Gribov copies and non-perturbative BRST invariance.

Superfield Approaches to a Model of Bosonic String: Curci‐Ferrari‐Type Restrictions
Exploiting the theoretical potential of the modified Bonora‐Tonin superfield approach (MBTSA) as well as the (anti‐)chiral superfield approach (ACSA) to Becchi‐Rouet‐Stora‐Tyutin (BRST) formalism, we derive the complete set of off‐shell nilpotent (anti‐)BRST symmetry transformations corresponding to the classical two‐ (1 + 1) dimensional (2D ...

Solving general gauge theories on inner product spaces [PDF]
By means of a generalized quartet mechanism we show in a model independent way that a BRST quantization on an inner product space leads to physical states of the form |ph>=e^{[Q, \psi]} |ph>_0 where Q is the nilpotent BRST operator, \psi a hermitian ...

Double Copy from Homotopy Algebras
It will be shown that the BRST Lagrangian double copy construction of N = 0 supergravity as the ‘square’ of Yang–Mills theory finds a natural interpretation in terms of homotopy algebras. The authors significantly expand on their previous work arguing the validity of the double copy at the loop level, and they give a detailed derivation of the double ...

On a gauge-invariant deformation of a classical gauge-invariant theory
We consider a general gauge theory with independent generators and study the problem of gauge-invariant deformation of initial gauge-invariant classical action.

A SUPERSPACE FORMULATION FOR THE BATALIN VILKOVISKY FORMALISM WITH EXTENDED BRST INVARIANCE [PDF]
A superspace formulation for the Batalin Vilkovisky formalism (also called field-antifield quantization ) with extended BRST invariance (BRST and anti-BRST invariance ) for gauge theories with closed algebra is presented.

Comments on the Covariant Sp(2)-Symmetric Lagrangian BRST Formalism [PDF]
We give a simple geometrical picture of the basic structures of the covariant $Sp(2)$ symmetric quantization formalism -- triplectic quantization -- recently suggested by Batalin, Marnelius and Semikhatov. In particular, we show that the appearance of an

BRST-CO-BRST QUANTIZATION OF REPARAMETRIZATION-INVARIANT THEORIES [PDF]
We study some reparametrization-invariant theories in the context of the BRST-co-BRST quantization method. The method imposes restrictions on the possible gauge-fixing conditions and leads to well-defined inner product states through a gauge regularization procedure. Two explicit examples are treated in detail.
