FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

European Heart Journal - Cardiovascular Imaging, 2020 Abstract INTRODUCTION A patient with aortic stenosis with an AVA of 1.22 cm2 who stands 5’ 6" and weighs 145 lb has a BSA of 1.76m2 (AV area index = 0.69 cm2/m2). If the same patient weighs 200 lbs, the BSA increases to 2.09 m2 (AV area index 0.58 cm2/m2).
