Electrospark-Induced Bubble Rupture for Micronano Bubble Formation in Water
The Journal of Physical Chemistry LettersThe generation of micronano bubbles (MNBs) typically relies on cavitation processes. However, discharge inside an underwater bubble causes bubble deformation, providing a new avenue for MNB formation. This study introduces a novel mechanism for micronano bubbles (MNB) generation through self-sustained discharge processes with underwater bubbles.

A Bubble Formation in the Two-Phase System
2019The formation of the bubbles in the liquid was examined numerically and results were successfully compared with the results provided by experiments. The study covered two different patterns defined by different Morton numbers or gas flow rates. The unsteady three dimensional calculations were carried out in code OpenFoam with the volume of fluid ...

Bubble Formation in Basalt-like Melts
2011The effect of the melting temperature on bubble size and bubble formation in an iron bearing calcium aluminosilicate melt is studied by means of in-depth images acquired by optical microscopy. The bubble size distribution and the total bubble volume are determined by counting the number of bubbles and their diameter.
