野生动物学报, 1990 1987年5月初,在陕西省城固县,县城以南,巴山北麓的铁路乡二岭沟村,发现一个由四种鹭科鸟,即夜鹭（Nycticorax nycti-corax）、白鹭（Egretta garzetta）、牛背鹭（Bubulcus ibis）和池鹭（Ardeola bacchus）组成的混群营巢地,四种鹭都属夏候鸟,每年三月初陆续迁来进行繁殖,已有18年之久。现将我们调查结果,报道于后。一、自然环境铁路乡二岭沟村,在县城以南约15公里,位于东经33°5′,北纬107°21′。地处大巴山西段,米仓山的北麓,海拔580m。

Between 1st December 2022 and 27th February 2023, 23 field visits were undertaken to their foraging area, recording 21 to 58 birds per day.
