A phylogeny for the Tineoidea (Lepidoptera)
The Tineoidea, long considered a paraphyletic group, is re-examined using phylogenetic methods and shown to consist of two lineages. One, the "tineoid" lineage includes the Tineidae, Eriocottidae, Acrolophidae and Psychidae.
