Multi-resonant Non-Inverting Buck-Boost Converter

2019 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2019
A DC-DC converter having buck-boost characteristics is proposed in this paper. The converter operation is based on the two resonators switched in between input and output ports having different characteristics frequencies. The resonant operation not only helps transfer energy but also to reduce losses using zero-current operation.

A discrete sliding mode control of a buck-boost inverter

IEEE 2002 28th Annual Conference of the Industrial Electronics Society. IECON 02, 2003
This paper proposes the design of a discrete sliding control of a buck-boost inverter. The sliding control surfaces are designed by imposing a desired dynamic behavior on the system, which allows us to determine the main parameters of the sliding mode controller, and is specially interesting in tracking problems.

A Novel Single-Stage Series-Resonant Buck–Boost Inverter

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2005
A novel single-stage series-resonant buck-boost inverter (SRBBI) is proposed in this paper. The main attribute of the novel inverter topology is the fact that it generates an ac output voltage larger or lower than the dc input one, depending on the instantaneous duty cycle.

Non-inverting buck-boost derived hybrid converter

2016 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Electrical Electronics & Sustainable Energy Systems (ICETEESES), 2016
In this paper, a non-inverting buck-boost derived hybrid converter (NIBBDHC) is proposed. It is derived from conventional two switch non-inverting buck-boost converter topology. Here, a parallel switch in conventional two-switch non-inverting buck-boost converter has replaced by a bridge type voltage source converter (VSC). Thus, the proposed converter

Single-phase five-level buck-boost inverter

2017 20th International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS), 2017
This paper proposes a single-phase five-level buck-boost inverter with a combination of Z-source network and T-type inverter. The proposed inverter has the following advantages as reducing a number of switches, buck-boost voltage with single-stage conversion and shoot-through immunity.

A Single-Stage Square Wave Buck-Boost Inverter

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2015
This paper proposed a novel single-stage square wave buck-boost inverter (SWBBI). The proposed inverter is designed by using dual buck-boost converters. The input DC voltage of the proposed inverter can be either stepped-down or stepped-up in square output voltage waveform depending on the duty-cycle applied for each buck-boost converter.

Inverting Buck-Boost Converter Project Documentation

This project showcases the design and simulation of an inverting buck-boost converter, a DC-DC power supply built to transform a +3V input into a stable -5V output. The entire circuit was designed and rigorously tested using the powerful LTspice simulation software. The documentation provides a full breakdown of the circuit's operation, components, and
