A Buck-Boost Type Grid-Connected Inverter
A novel type of inverter is proposed for grid-connection of new energy power generation. The proposed inverter is based on buck-boost operation well-known in DC chopper circuits. This inverter acts as an interface between the generator and the grid and has a distinctive feature of realizing the inverse load flow with a wide range of input DC voltage. A

Three-Phase Buck-Boost Inverter with Reduced Current Ripple
This paper proposes a novel three-phase inverter. It has the buck-boost operation and contains only six active switches. The proposed buck-boost inverter remarkably reduces the current ripple of the voltage source and input inductors.

Crop Insurance Design and On‐Farm Risk Adaptation
ABSTRACT The United States spends billions annually on crop insurance premium subsidies, yet the prevailing distance‐based guarantee design unintentionally rewards risk‐taking by linking subsidies to yield variability. We consider a simple redesign: define guarantees in terms of probability so that coverage reflects a consistent likelihood of indemnity.
