Buckling Analysis under Uncertainty
Vulnerability, Uncertainty, and Risk, 2014The authors present a new approach to buckling analysis of columns under parametric uncertainty. The approach is based on possibility theory, where the uncertain parameters are modeled by possibility distributions and an analytical approach is used to propagate the uncertainties through the computations.

1998The paper discusses the problems of torsional and tosional-flexural buckling of uniformly compressed thin-walled beam-type structures of open cross sections. Numerical approach used in this paper is based on the finite element method and so treated problems are finally solved as matrix eigenvalue ones.
