Twist buckling of veins under torsional loading [PDF]
Veins are often subjected to torsion and twisted veins can hinder and disrupt normal blood flow but their mechanical behavior under torsion is poorly understood. The objective of this study was to investigate the twist deformation and buckling behavior of veins under torsion.

Buckling load of bending coiled tubing under an injector
When coiled tubing is applied in high oil–gas wells, buckling load of a coiled tubing under the injector is the key for functionality. The coiled tubing is curved, but it is simplified to straight tubing for buckling load solved in the past.

Transient Cytoskeletal Anisotropy Encodes Short‐Term Mechanical Memory in Glioblastoma Cells
The same mechanical deformation can produce distinct cytoskeletal states depending on loading history. Experiments and constitutive modeling reveal that transient actin–vimentin anisotropy stores mechanical information and governs short‐term mechanical memory in glioblastoma cells.
