Monetary and budgetary policy interaction: an SVAR analysis of stabilisation policies in monetary union

This paper examines the interaction between monetary and budgetary policy. A comparison of the dynamic responses in di.erent exchange rate regimes offers an assessment of the monetary union case. The analysis proceeds on an SVAR-common trends model. In its current specification, we can only infer responses to the budgetary policy shock.

Challenges of modeling pristane‐induced lupus in non‐human primates

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in cynomolgus monkeys was modeled by two intraperitoneal injections of pristane at a dose of 3.5 mL/kg, administered at weeks 1 and 23. Serum samples from all monkeys that received pristane tested positive for antinuclear antibodies.
