Plant–soil feedbacks in a diverse grassland: Soil remembers, but not too much
Journal of Ecology, Volume 111, Issue 6, Page 1203-1217, June 2023., 2023 The authors showed that plant‐induced soil legacies of a dominant species can be altered by legacies of co‐occurring plants, complicating plant–soil feedbacks in diverse communities. Despite the detectable legacy effects on final plant biomass, in the short term, plant growth responds more strongly to the levels of available nutrients.
