Enabling Mesenchymal Stromal Cells and Their Extracellular Vesicles Clinical Availability—A Technological and Economical Evaluation

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Biology, Volume 4, Issue 3, March 2025.
Design and simulation of a manufacturing platform for producing clinical‐grade doses of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC) and MSC‐derived extracellular vesicles (MSC‐EV). The platform achieves competitive selling prices for MSC doses ranging from 10 to 100 million cells, and offers even more attractive prices for MSC‐EV, with dosages of 1010 and 1011 EV.
