Specific Position of Halogen in Crystalline TADF Scintillators Enables Efficient Triplet Harvesting Through Vibrational Modulation of Spin–Orbit Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Specific ortho‐halogenation transforms crystalline TADF emitters into efficient organic scintillators. Fluorine reduces the effective singlet–triplet separation, while chlorine combines near‐degenerate excited states with vibrational modulation of spin–orbit coupling.

Confinement‐Induced Donnan Potential Enables Sealed Hydrovoltaic Power From Microliter Water

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An ultrathin MXene/cellulose nanofiber (CNF) nanochannel‐based hydrovoltaic generator produces sustained direct current (DC) from a single microliter droplet under sealed operation. Asymmetric nanochannel confinement establishes a persistent ion gradient and a confinement‐induced Donnan potential, harvesting the interfacial free energy released upon ...

Electropolymerized Aptasensor for Femtogram‐Level Cytokine Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Electropolymerization of 3‐amino‐ʟ‐tyrosine creates ultrathin, smooth, and chemically robust pALT nanofilms with accessible carboxyl functionalities for direct aptamer immobilization. Integrated with fiber‐optic SPR and OECT platforms, these interfaces enable IL‐6 detection down to 100 fg mL−1 and provide a versatile route to bioelectronic sensing ...

Knowledge extraction from on-line open source bug tracking systems to predict bug-fixing time

open access: yes, 2017
For large scale software systems, many bugs can be reported over a long period of time. For software quality assurance and software project management, it is important to assign adequate resources to resolve the reported bug.

Cydnidae pigmentation

open access: yesJournal of Current Research in Scientific Medicine
Cydnidae pigmentation is caused by the arthropod Chilocoris assmuthi which is also known as the burrowing bug. The lesion is characterised as asymptomatic brownish red macules which develops on contact with the bug.

BEDBUGS (HEMIPTERA, CIMICIDAE) AN ANNOYING BLOOD SUCKING INSECT AND DISEASE VECTOR: A REVIEW ARTICLE [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Egyptian Society of Parasitology
Human Bed Bug evolved from Bat Bug which feed on Bats in caves. Bat bugs, as Cimex pipistrelli(Europe), C. pilosellus and C. adjunctus (USA), evolved into a new species; bed bug or truebugs (Cimicidae).

Side‐Chain‐Induced Interlayer Slipping in Metalloporphyrin COFs Enables Microenvironment and Spin‐State Regulation for Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Alkoxy chain length drives a continuous transition from eclipsed AA to a serrated, slipped AA* configuration over Co‐porphyrin COFs. A moderate slip both contracts the pore channel to enrich CO2 and suppress hydrogen evolution, and enhances collective high‐spin of Co sites, which delivers a record CO production rate with high selectivity.
