The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Calibration and validation of a combustion-cogeneration [PDF]
This paper describes the calibration and validation of a combustion cogeneration model for whole-building simulation. As part of IEA Annex 42, we proposed a combustion cogeneration model for studying residentialscale cogeneration systems based on both ...

Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...

Building on the DEPLOY Legacy: Code Generation and Simulation
The RODIN, and DEPLOY projects laid solid foundations for further theoretical, and practical (methodological and tooling) advances with Event-B. Our current interest is the co-simulation of cyber-physical systems using Event-B. Using this approach we aim
