Or at least almost never. ‘This is something of a record, Michael’, he said as we were introduced. ‘This is the first time that I’ve agreed to be seen by anyone for many years. Maybe only once have I given an interview. I think about ten years ago.’ But it wasn’t to be a formal interview.
