In Yellowstone Lake, Wyoming, lake trout carcasses are used to suppress invasive lake trout embryos in an effort to conserve native Yellowstone cutthroat trout. Using a field experiment, we determined that carcass treatment had limited, non‐target effects on benthic invertebrates.

This work comprehensively studies the mechanistic behaviour of cobalt‐free Li1.2Ni0.2Mn0.6O2 and demonstrates the positive impact of two‐phase Ru doping on voltage decay using the combination of in operando and post‐mortem synchrotron analyses. A mechanistic transition from a C2/c phase to a R m phase is reported for the first time.

A Breakdown of the Black Hole–Bulge Mass Relation in Local Active Galaxies
We investigate the relation between black hole (BH) mass and bulge stellar mass for a sample of 117 local ( z ∼ 0) galaxies hosting low-luminosity, broad-line active galactic nuclei (AGNs).

Effect of an Upstream Unconnected Bulge on Film Cooling
Film cooling technology is commonly used in a cooling system of gas turbines. For different upstream bulge configurations, the unconnected and connected configurations were used to investigate the film cooling effectiveness and downstream dimensionless ...

A Spitzer Study of Pseudobulges in S0 Galaxies : Secular Evolution of Disks
In this Letter, we present a systematic study of lenticular (S0) galaxies based on mid-infrared imaging data on 185 objects taken using the Spitzer Infra Red Array Camera. We identify the S0s hosting pseudobulges based on the position of the bulge on the

In this work, spherical powders of refractory Ti‐V‐Zr‐Nb‐Mo‐Hf‐Ta‐W high‐entropy alloys (R‐HEAs) have been fabricated in a single step by plasma‐assisted centrifugal atomization. Loss of the heaviest elements in the composition is observed only at rotational speeds higher than 13 000 rpm due to solid‐solid centrifugal separation.

Bulge Region as a Putative Hair Follicle Stem Cells Niche: A Brief Review
Background: Hair follicle stem cells exist in different sites. Most of the hair follicle stem cells are reside in niche called bulge. Bulge region is located between the opening of sebaceous gland and the attachment site of the arrector pili muscle ...

This study explores the potential of locally harvested Phallusia mammillata, a tunicate usually discarded as waste from mussles farming as a viable source for producing various high‐grade cellulose derivatives in the form of nanofibrils (NFC) and nanocrystals (CNC). Abstract Ascidians are ubiquitous filter‐feeding marine invertebrates, the only animals

Structure, Kinematics, and Dynamics of Bulges [PDF]
A historical review of our understanding of bulges is first presented, highlighting similarities and differences between bulges and ellipticals. Then, some topics of current interest are reviewed, bypassing stellar population questions and focusing on structural and dynamical issues relating bulges and disks.
