Opto‐Electronic Tuning of Neuron Emulation in Perovskite Volatile Memristive Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Thus, a single device in a transistor configuration that exhibits volatile memristive behavior is optoelectronically tunable. Linear potentiation protocols and Leaky Integrate‐and‐Fire behavior is reported, while light pulses is shown to induce both photonic potentiation and graded type of optical neurons, opening the path for emulating neuron ...

Variations in Local Oscillatory Dynamics in Strained LSMO Thin Films, Observed in Non Equilibrium Transport Studies, for Brain Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Dynamics of neuron‐like oscillators on an epitaxial film of strained LSMO on a textured LAO substrate. The temperature variation of the oscillations are a consequence of orbital hybridization effects. The oscillation frequencies correspond to the frequencies that characterize brain waves.

Atomic Layer Deposition‐Modified Bifunctional Electrocatalysts for Rechargeable Zinc‐Air Batteries: Boosting Activity and Cycle Life

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
The transition metal oxide is precisely deposited on the catalyst surface via atomic layer deposition (ALD), forming a protective layer with catalytic activity. Electrochemical experiments, theoretical calculations, and in situ X‐ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) battery testing collectively demonstrate that the modified transition metal oxide ...

Exploring the Role of III‐V Semiconductor‐Based Nanowire Composition and Geometry on Photoelectrochemical Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
III‐V nanowires have shown great potential for use as electrodes in photoelectrochemical water splitting. It has been demonstrated that their durability and efficiency depend on their geometry and composition. All of those tested sustained H2 production for 2 h.
