A coating approach utilizing polyoxovanadate was explored as an effective strategy for enhancing the cycling performance and stability of Ni‐rich NCM cathodes. The cyclability of NCM851005 (85 % Ni content) after surface modification was much improved in both liquid‐ and solid‐state batteries.

Elastic collision and molecule formation of spatiotemporal light bullets in a cubic-quintic nonlinear medium [PDF]
We consider the statics and dynamics of a stable, mobile three-dimensional (3D) spatiotemporal light bullet in a cubic-quintic nonlinear medium with a focusing cubic nonlinearity above a critical value and any defocusing quintic nonlinearity. The 3D light bullet can propagate with a constant velocity in any direction.

ECL‐Based Readout of Electric Field‐Induced Fine‐Tuning of Redox Activity
Bipolar electrochemistry is applied to fine‐tune the redox activity of Mg. Mapping the electrochemiluminescence (ECL) emission shows the spatial electroactivity of Mg and the asymmetric reactivity induced by the electric field in a wireless manner. Abstract Magnesium, a highly reactive alkaline earth metal, acts spontaneously as a strong reducing agent.

Improving Photocatalytic Hydrogen Generation via Polycitric Acid‐based Carbon Nanodots
The influence, that polycitric acid‐based carbon nanodot (CND) can pose on the properties of incorporated N‐hetero‐π‐conjugated chromophores was investigated. Phenazine was used as the probe chromophore, because of its well‐understood redox chemistry.

Figures a–b and c–d present the ToF‐SIMS results of the Li metal and polymer electrolyte interface before and after cycling, respectively. After cycling, accumulation of S− and LiF− components at the interface was observed, confirming the formation of an artificial SEI layer. We have entered the age of renewable energy revolution.

Abstract BACKGROUND The heterogeneous photo‐Fenton process demands stable and efficient materials as catalysts to decompose hydrogen peroxide and generate reactive oxygen species to promote the degradation of organic contaminants in wastewater. In this study, the catalytic activity of an iron mining residue (IMR) was investigated for the heterogeneous ...

Covering Trick and Embolic Volume [PDF]
Embolic volume of compact manifolds is defined in terms of Berger's embolic inequality. In this paper, we show a result of relating embolic volume to the first Betti number. The proof relies on Gromov's covering argument appeared in systolic geometry. Berger called this method covering trick. We exploit and present more details to covering trick in the

On the idempotent semirings such that $\mathcal{D}^\bullet$ is the least distributive lattice congruence [PDF]
Here we describe the least distributive lattice congruence $\eta$ on an idempotent semiring in general and characterize the varieties $D^\bullet, L^\bullet$ and $R^\bullet$ of all idempotent semirings such that $\eta=\mathcal{D}^\bullet, \mathcal{L}^\bullet$ and $\mathcal{R}^\bullet$, respectively.
