On metric-affine bumblebee model coupled to scalar matter
We consider the coupling of the metric-affine bumblebee gravity model to scalar matter and calculate the lower-order contributions to two-point functions of bumblebee and scalar fields in the weak gravity approximation.

Potential Correlation Between Bombus lantschouensis Thoracic Morphology and Flight Behavior
Potential correlation between Bombus lantschouensis thoracic morphology and flight behavior. ABSTRACT Remarkably little modern work has investigated the thoracic structures of insects and their relationship to flight locomotion. Most studies focus exclusively on either morphology or flight kinematics.

Brain size may be influenced by the cognitive demands of sociality (social brain hypothesis). We used microCT to compare CNS and brain volumes in social versus solitary huntsman and crab spiders. Social huntsman spiders had larger arcuate and mushroom bodies, while social crab spiders had larger visual neuropils.

Pollination ecology in the tropical Andes: moving towards a cross‐scale approach
ABSTRACT Plant–pollinator interactions structure ecological communities and represent a key component of ecosystem functioning. Pollination networks are expected to be more diverse and specialised in the tropics, but pollination ecology in these regions has been understudied in comparison to other areas.

Abstract Pollinator conservation schemes typically focus on conserving existing, restoring degraded, or creating new wild bee habitats. Their effectiveness depends on dispersal corridors enabling habitat colonization by bees. However, the role of seminatural linear landscape structures (LLS) in connecting pollinator communities across intensively ...

Learned Use of Picture Cues by Bumblebees (Bombus impatiens) in a Delayed Matching Task
Picture-object correspondence provides an alternate method of investigating delayed matching by providing a cue (picture) which may be spontaneously perceived as similar but different from a corresponding target.

Air pollution and its multifaceted effects on insect pollinators: A review
Air pollution disrupts plant‐pollinator interactions by impairing floral signal transmission, altering foraging behaviour, and reducing pollinator fitness, flight efficiency, reproduction and survival, posing serious threats to ecological stability.
