The block-coherence measures and the coherence measures based on positive-operator-valued measures [PDF]
We mainly study the block-coherence measures based on resource theory of block-coherence and the coherence measures based on positive-operator-valued measures (POVM). Several block-coherence measures including a block-coherence measure based on maximum relative entropy, the one-shot block coherence cost under the maximally block-incoherent operations ...

Transient Bundle-Branch Block [PDF]
Fourteen patients with transient bundle-branch block have been personally studied. All but one suffered from ischemic heart disease commonly accompanied by hypertension. The conduction defect was observed to appear during acute infarction, attacks of prolonged chest pain, and episodes of left ventricular failure.

Long-term outcomes of His bundle pacing in patients with heart failure with left bundle branch block
Objectives His bundle pacing (HBP) can potentially correct left bundle branch block (LBBB). We aimed to assess the efficacy of HBP to correct LBBB and long-term clinical outcomes with HBP in patients with heart failure (HF).

Masquerading bundle branch block
We here describe a surface 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) of a 72-year-old female with a prior history of breast cancer and chemotherapy-induced cardiomyopathy. An echocardiogram revealed left ventricular dysfunction, ejection fraction of 23%, with mild enlarged left ventricle. The 12-lead ECG showed atrial fibrillation with a mean heart rate of about

His bundle pacing after failure of cardiac resynchronization therapy: a case study
His bundle pacing is a relatively new method of cardiac pacing. This method is used in patients with atrioventricular block to prevent heart failure associated with right ventricular pacing, and in patients with bundle branch block and cardiomyopathy. We

Core blocks for Hecke algebras of type B and sign sequences [PDF]
We consider the core blocks corresponding to the Hecke algebras of type B over a field of arbitrary characteristic. To each core block B, we associate two non-negative integers which determine the indexing of the Specht modules and simple modules in the block, the weight of the block, the multicharge of the algebra (up to a shift) and the block ...

Apparent ST elevation in right bundle branch block pseudo-mimicking myocardial infarction
We report a case of right bundle branch block, in which the patient’s symptoms and the electrocardiogram findings mimicked those of acute coronary syndrome.

Reversal of left bundle branch block–induced cardiomyopathy by His bundle pacing
A 61-year-old woman was referred to our institution for evaluation of severe nonischemic dilated cardiomyopathy and left bundle branch block (LBBB). After permanent His bundle pacing, the LBBB was immediately corrected; however, the right bundle branch ...

Right Bundle Branch Block: Current Considerations
RBBB, a pattern seen on the 12-lead ECG, results when normal electrical activity in the His-Purkinje system is interrupted for some reason. The normal sequence of activation is altered in RBBB, with a resultant characteristic appearance on the ECG ...
