We present 2 cases of the slow-fast form of AVNRT with initially narrow QRS complexes followed by sudden unexpected transition to persistently wide QRS complexes due to aberrant intraventricular conduction.

Left bundle branch block (LBBB) causes left ventricular (LV) dyssynchrony which is often associated with heart failure. A significant proportion of heart failure patients do not demonstrate clinical improvement despite cardiac resynchronization therapy ...

Diminished Left Ventricular Dyssynchrony and Impact of Resynchronization in Failing Hearts With Right Versus Left Bundle Branch Block [PDF]
ObjectivesWe compared mechanical dyssynchrony and the impact of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) in failing hearts with a pure right (RBBB) versus left bundle branch block (LBBB).BackgroundCardiac resynchronization therapy is effective for ...

Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

This work presents π–conjugated polymers based on dihydropyrazine (DHP) and ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT), developed to produce highly conductive, flexible films for printed electronics. By optimizing the DHP and EDOT ratio, strong and compact π–π stacking is achieved, resulting in polymer films with conductivities up to 1700 S cm−1 under ambient ...

Left bundle branch block: from cardiac mechanics to clinical and diagnostic challenges.
Left bundle branch block (LBBB) results in an altered pattern of left ventricular (LV) activation and subsequent contraction, causing remarkable changes in LV mechanics, perfusion and workload and ultimately leading to pathologic cardiac remodelling ...

Left bundle branch block: A continuously evolving concept [PDF]
Eppinger and Rothberger in 1909 and 1910 first acknowledged the importance of the conduction system, yet a confusion of the pattern of left bundle branch block with right bundle branch block resulted which persisted for 25 years.
