Mindset Matters, but How? Unravelling Growth Language Mindset Through Set‐ESEM and Latent Profile Analysis

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Education, Volume 61, Issue 4, December 2026.
ABSTRACT While the positive influence of growth language mindset (GLM) on academic outcomes is well‐documented, its multidimensional mechanisms and learner heterogeneity remain under‐explored. To bridge this gap, this study examined how a multifaceted GLM, comprising general language intelligence beliefs, second language aptitude beliefs, and age ...

Solid particles focusing, orienting, and de‐focusing in planar Poiseuille flow

open access: yesAIChE Journal, Volume 72, Issue 10, October 2026.
Abstract Three‐dimensional, time‐dependent lattice‐Boltzmann simulations of neutrally buoyant particles in planar Poiseuille flow have been performed. The particles are spherical or cylindrical (the latter with a length over diameter ratios in the range 1/3 to 2) and have volume fraction ranging from virtually zero (one particle) to 0.15. The channel's

Design and Implementation of a Digitalised Marine Aids to Navigation Monitoring System for High‐Density Maritime Traffic Waters: A Case Study of the Strait of Malacca

open access: yesApplied Research, Volume 5, Issue 5, October 2026.
A digitalised Aids‐to‐Navigation monitoring system (ARMS) was deployed across 478 installations in the Strait of Malacca and Malaysian waters, integrating multi‐sensor edge validation, hybrid AIS/VHF/cellular communication, and a centralised platform. It achieved 98.3% availability and cut fault‐detection time from weeks to just 8.4 min.
