Asymptotic r2 Enhancement in Formulation‐Optimized Lipid‐Iron Oxide Nanoparticles for Assessing Glioblastoma Heterogeneity at Ultrahigh‐Field MRI

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Lipid‐coated superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (LSPIONs) are developed as MRI‐visible lipid nanocarriers for glioblastoma imaging. By tuning nanoparticle size and SPION loading, their transverse relaxivity (r2) can be systematically controlled over one order of magnitude, reaching 390 mm−1 s−1 at 9.4 T.

Engineering ApoE‐Mimetic HDL‐Like Nanoparticles for Glioblastoma‐Targeted Theranostics

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
An ApoE‐mimetic peptide enables the stable formation of sub‐30 nm HDL‐like nanoparticles (ApoEm‐PLP) that simultaneously engage multiple lipoprotein receptors. This multivalent receptor interaction facilitates the transport of ApoEm‐PLP into brain and enhances targeted delivery of ApoEm‐PLP to glioblastoma, resulting in uniform intratumoral porphyrin ...

Risk factors for dental overgrowth in rabbits: A retrospective study using electronic health records

open access: yesVeterinary Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Rabbits’ teeth grow continuously. Overgrown teeth are a frequent cause for veterinary consultation and can have severe welfare implications. The risk factors for overgrown teeth are incompletely understood. Methods Rabbits with overgrown teeth recorded in their electronic health records (EHRs) were identified from a large population

Oral non‐steroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs do not delay corneal healing in dogs with spontaneous chronic corneal epithelial defects: A retrospective cohort of 186 ulcers

open access: yesVeterinary Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Oral non‐steroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are commonly used for analgesia in dogs with spontaneous chronic corneal epithelial defects (SCCEDs). Topical NSAIDs can delay epithelialisation and promote stromal melting, but the safety of systemic NSAIDs in SCCEDs is unknown.
