Macrofungi of Burdur province

In this study, an attempt has been made to determine macrofungal specimens collected from Burdur in 2006-2008. After field and laboratory studies, 35 taxa belonging to 17 families and 2 divisio were identified. 3 taxa belong to Ascomycota and 32 to Basidiomycota. Two of them; Inocybe maculipes J. Favre and Tricholoma portentosum var.

Burdur Lake has lost a quarter of its water during the last 20 years. The decline in the water level is still continuing. The annual water loss of the lake is approximately 40 hm3. Under the current circumstances the decline in its water level will continue until it reaches 80 km2. At this level the water budget of the lake will balance.
