Integrable viscous conservation laws
We propose an extension of the Dubrovin-Zhang perturbative approach to the study of normal forms for non-Hamiltonian integrable scalar conservation laws. The explicit computation of the first few corrections leads to the conjecture that such normal forms

Fatigue Crack Initiation and Growth in Nanocrystalline Ni at Multiple Length‐Scales
Overview of miniaturized in situ SEM fatigue setup and resultant fatigue crack growth data for nanocrystalline Ni. The presented study focuses on the analysis of fatigue crack growth rate (FCGR) in focused ion beam‐notched microcantilevers prepared from nanocrystalline (NC) Ni as a model material.

On the existence of the solution of Burgers' equation for n≤4
In this paper a proof of the existence of the solution of Burgers' equation for n≤4 is presented. The technique used is shown to be valid for equations with more general types of nonlinearities than is present in Burgers' equation.

In this paper, we establish new two-mode coupled Burgers’ equations which are introduced to the first time. We derive the multiple kink and singular solutions for new two-mode coupled Burgers’ equation.

Discrete analogue of the Burgers equation [PDF]
We propose the set of coupled ordinary differential equations dn_j/dt=(n_{j-1})^2-(n_j)^2 as a discrete analog of the classic Burgers equation. We focus on traveling waves and triangular waves, and find that these special solutions of the discrete system capture major features of their continuous counterpart.

Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

Resolve the multitude of microscale interactions to holistically discretise the stochastically forced Burgers' partial differential equation [PDF]
[Abstract]: Constructing discrete models of stochastic partial differential equations is very delicate. Here we use modern dynamical systems theory to derive spatial discretisations of the nonlinear advection-diffusion dynamics of the stochastically ...

A New High-order Time-kernel BIEM for the Burgers Equation
This paper presents a new high-order time-kernel boundary-integral-equation method (BIEM) for numerically solving transient problems governed by the Burgers equation.
