Extracellular Vesicle‐Mediated Regulation of H3C14 Contributes to Gemcitabine Resistance in Bladder Cancer

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, Volume 14, Issue 11, November 2025.
H3C14 modulates gemcitabine metabolism and is selectively excluded via extracellular vesicles (EVs) in gemcitabine (GCB)‐resistant bladder cancer. CD9⁺/CD63⁺/CD81⁺ EVs (Transport‐EVs) transmit resistance, whereas CD147⁺/LAMB1⁺ EVs (Excretion‐EVs) excrete tumour‐suppressive cargos, highlighting the functional divergence of EV subtypes in GCB resistance.

Proteolytic stabilization of a spider venom peptide results in an orally active bioinsecticide

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 81, Issue 10, Page 6404-6415, October 2025.
Selective editing out of an insect gut protease cleavage site renders a spider‐derived insecticidal peptide active by ingestion by insect pests. Abstract BACKGROUND The toxin peptide U1‐AGTX‐Ta1b from the Hobo spider, Eratigena agrestis (Walckenaer, 1802), was studied to determine its potential to serve as a bioinsecticide.

Abstract Social outcomes of agricultural practice adoption are often excluded from adoption studies, particularly outcomes related to community well‐being.
