ZooKeys, 2011 Palerasnitsynus ohlhoffi gen. et sp. n. is described from Burmese amber of late Albian (Lower Cretaceous) age. This is the first record of the family Psychomyiidae from Burmese amber, and the earliest fossil record of the family.
