Abstract Background Necrotizing periodontal diseases (NPDs) are uncommon and severe inflammatory conditions characterized by tissue necrosis, painful ulceration, and rapid clinical progression, frequently associated with systemic immunosuppression. Limited data exist regarding their clinical presentation and management in hospital settings.
