The effect of electric fields on burning velocity
Combustion and Flame, 1972Part I: The work reported in our recent letter has been extended to radio frequency fields using, for simplicity, the thermocouple method alone. The apparatus used was that described in Ref. 1. The nigh voltage supply was replaced by a radio frequency, generator giving a field strength of 1 kV rms cm-1 at 6 MHz.

Burning velocity measurement by bomb method
Combustion and Flame, 1974The bomb method of measuring burning velocity of a combustible mixture has important advantages over the conventional burner methods. The spatial flame velocity is determined by using a simple pulse circuit and ionization probes, and the burning velocity is computed from this data. The method is suitable for a wide range of pressures and mixture ratios.
