The bursa of ostrich and emu is a wall organ of the caudal cloacal chamber. The bursa of rhea is, like the bursa of Gallus, a cranial appendix of the proctodeum.

The Deep Infra-patellar bursa can be injected at post mortem examination. It is oval in outline and elongated in the lateral view. It lies between the ligamentum patellae and the flattened smooth anterior surface of the upper end of the tibia. This bursa could well be the origin of cysts that have been reported in the infra-pateilar pad of fat.

Darülmuallimin (Male Teacher Training College) was opened in the Ottoman Empire in 1848 to train teachers for junior high schools, which were the pioneer of the civil modern schools in the Empire. Teacher training has developed since the opening of Darülmuallimin, which has led to the emergence of today’s faculties of education.
