Hypericum perforatum ethanolic extract (HPEE) at the levels of 0, 150, 300 and 450 mg/kg were used and dietary treatments did not affect growth performance including feed intake, body weight and feed conversion ratio. The HPPE reduced the abdominal fat and improved meat quality in broilers.

Broiler chickens fed diets with liquid or combined methionine sources (especially 100‐LM and 50‐LPM) showed improved growth, feed efficiency, breast yield, villus height, and antioxidant status, with reduced serum urea, uric acid, and liver enzymes—demonstrating superior efficiency of liquid methionine supplementation.

Characterization of Harderian Gland‐Derived Plasma Cells in Chicken
An isolation protocol for plasma cells (PC) from the chicken Harderian gland (HG) was established, and analyses of PCs revealed a FSChigh/CD45med/sIgpos/CD57pos/CXCR4high/TACIlow phenotype. Presence of CXCL12 and BAFF around HG PCs suggests a contribution of CXCL12–CXCR4 and BAFF–TACI to PC localization and survival.
