Opportunities for Multiscale Pattern Modulation with Temporally Arrested Breath Figures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This works presents the temporally arrested breath figure methodology and its opportunities for pattern modulation. Through thermodynamic and photochemical phase change handles, this method uses drop‐wise condensation as a dynamic template for fast, accessible and scalable micropatterning.

Enhanced precise therapy of ROS-sensitive dual-layer shell nanoparticles loading quercetin on DSS-induced ulcerative colitis mice

open access: yesAPL Materials
Ulcerative colitis (UC) is an intestinal condition, involving inflammatory response, apoptosis, and associated processes. As one of the traditional Chinese medicine treatments for UC, quercetin has received attention because it can attenuate inflammation.

Implantable Microarray Patch: Engineering at the Nano and Macro Scale for Sustained Therapeutic Release via Synthetic Biodegradable Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 10, Issue 6, March 18, 2025.
This review focuses on the application of synthetic biodegradable microarray patches (MAPs) in sustained drug delivery. Compared to conventional MAPs which release drugs into the skin in an immediate manner, these implantable MAPs release drugs into skin microcirculation gradually as the biodegradable polymers degrade, thus offering sustained release ...

Multiwavelength Observations of an Eruptive Flare: Evidence for Blast Waves and Break-out

open access: yes, 2013
Images of an east-limb flare on 3 November 2010 taken in the 131 \AA\ channel of the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly onboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory provide a convincing example of a long current sheet below an erupting plasmoid, as predicted by the ...
