Impact of burst assembly parameters on edge router latency in an optical burst switching network
The 16th Annual Meeting of the IEEE Lasers and Electro-Optics Society, 2003. LEOS 2003., 2004The impact of burst assembly on edge router latency in an optical burst-switched network is investigated. It is shown that burst assembly parameters impacts upon the latency, while self-similarity has no effect.
