ABSTRACT In the study `The Buryat Humour` the historical development of the Buryat humour, its kinds and elements are evaluated. The `Introduction` gives information about the history of Buryatia, its geography, culture as well as religious, sosial structure and folklore elemets. In the First Chapter of this study, humour kinds are thoroughly discussed.
