Micro‐size aperture surface acoustic wave generator for cell lysis

open access: yesDroplet, EarlyView.
Micro‐size aperture interdigitated transducer for cell lysis of cell inside droplets. Abstract The breakage of the cellular membrane for releasing intracellular material is the starting point for several diagnostics or treatment processes. Surface acoustic waves can provide a novel and chemical‐free approach by inducing acoustic streaming generating ...

An extensive critique on expert system control in solar photovoltaic dominated microgrids

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation, EarlyView., 2023
Solar and wind power have recently become a potential option in power systems and act significantly to meet load penetration demands. The present growth of such renewable energy sources has shown an exponential increase. A vicious cycle along busy bus corridors and how to abate it [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We unveil that a previously-unreported vicious cycle can be created when bus queues form at curbside stops along a corridor. Buses caught in this cycle exhibit growing variation in headways as they travel from stop to stop. Bus (and patron) delays accumulate in like fashion and can grow large on long, busy corridors.
