On‐Chip Active Non‐Reciprocal Topological Photonics
Advanced Materials, EarlyView.An ultra‐compact and efficient on‐chip isolator is experimentally demonstrated by integrating magneto‐optical InSb onto a terahertz silicon topological chip. The simultaneous breaking of spatial and temporal reversal symmetries forms a valley‐conserved non‐reciprocal waveguide mode, enabling a compact cavity size of 6.4 × 2.5λ2 and a low insertion loss
