Toward Capacitive In‐Memory‐Computing: A Device to Systems Level Perspective on the Future of Artificial Intelligence Hardware

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Capacitive, charge‐domain compute‐in‐memory (CIM) stores weights as capacitance, eliminating DC sneak paths and IR‐drop, yielding near‐zero standbypower. In this perspective, we present a device to systems level performance analysis of most promising architectures and predict apathway for upscaling capacitive CIM for sustainable edge computing ...

Crafting Business Architecture: The Antecedents Of Business Model Design

open access: yesAcademy of Management Proceedings, 2013
Anchored in the broad design literature, we derive four antecedents of business model design: goals, templates, stakeholder activities, and environmental constraints. These business model design antecedents are illustrated using interview data from nine new ventures in the peer‐to‐peer lending space.

Aligning Application Architecture to the Business Context [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Alignment of application architecture to business architecture is a central problem in the design, acquisition and implementation of information systems in current large-scale information-processing organizations. Current research in architecture alignment is either too strategic or too software implementation-oriented to be of use to the practicing ...

Talk to Your Data: An Agentic Artificial Intelligence‐Driven Decision‐Support Framework for Prosumer Energy Optimization and Recommendations

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
An agentic AI‐driven decision‐support framework for prosumers is proposed, integrating PV generation, load profiling, and multihorizon optimization within a four‐agent architecture. The approach significantly reduces grid dependence, enhances self‐sufficiency and prevents system oversizing.

Playing in the Dark: Invisible Chess as a Laboratory for Strategic AI

open access: yesAI &Innovation, EarlyView.
This paper shows that strategic AI evaluated on perfect‐information benchmarks can be brittle in real adversarial settings. By using invisible chess as a benchmark for hidden state and deception, it argues for stricter testing, human oversight, and more cautious governance of high‐stakes AI systems.

Diagnosing the system: Mental health, necropolitical uncare, and the abolition of migration detention

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract This article examines the psychological effects of migration detention in the European Union's Closed Controlled Access Center (CCAC) on Samos through an ecological lens. It explores a double normalization of suffering: the brutalization of necropolitical migration governance and the simultaneous understanding of resulting distress as an ...
