Tools for business-process reengineering
IEEE Software, 1994Not every attempt at business process reengineering has been a success. Part of the reason is that traditional modeling and analysis tools are simplistic. Business processes are dynamic and they interact. Static process modeling tools reveal only what happens within a process, what it uses as input, and what it outputs.

Semantic reengineering of business processes
Information Systems, 2010This paper discusses transforming ontological models into non-ontological models of business processes, when the process of articulating different data models is known as reengineering domains. As a crucial factor in achieving interoperability and semantic reengineering of the domains with the different levels of semantic representation (expressiveness)

Business Process Reengineering
Controlling, 2001The third phase of TAD methodology deals with using the information collected in the entity, activity and task tables, developed in the previous two phases, to carry out business process reengineering (BPR) in the organization concerned. More precisely, this phase deals with identifying and implementing changes to improve or optimize the functioning of

Al models for business process reengineering
IEEE Expert, 1996Most models fail to capture the rationale behind processes, making business reengineering less effective. The authors describe their I* framework, which views organizations as collections of actors with strategic interests, and interdependencies involving goals, tasks, and resources.
