Enhancing the Ferroelectricity of MAPbI3 via Hydroxyl Groups to Boost Photocatalytic Performance
ENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.The hydroxyl groups in (EOA)2PbBr4 enable a rearrangement of the polar MA+ ions in MAPbI3, which enhances the Ps‐electric field and promotes the separation of photogenerated carriers. Consequently, the (EOA)2PbBr4/MAPbI3 composite exhibits the enhanced CO production yield in photocatalytic CO2 reduction reactions.

A Flexible Poling‐Free Piezoelectric Energy Harvester Based on Gradient Ti‐Doped BiFeO3 Films
ENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.A self‐aligned polarization is realized in compositional gradient Ti‐doped BiFeO3 films via the formation of defect dipoles and strain gradient. The self‐poling behavior is robust to resist high electric field and elevated temperature. The fabricated poling‐free piezoelectric energy harvester delivers output comparable to the poled ones.

Dibenzosuberene‐Winged Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons
European Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.The twisted acene 8, which features two dibenzosuberene “wings”, was prepared by the addition of a crowded aryne to a similarly “winged” cyclopentadienone. Compound 8 is chiral, and it has a high barrier to thermal racemization (ΔG‡rac = 36 kcal/mol), but it undergoes fast photochemical racemization even in ambient light.
