ZnO‐Coated Silicon Oxide Nano‐Anode: Synergistic Enhancement of Cycling and Thermal Stability of Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Lithium‐ion battery anodes that maintain good performance and excellent stability under high temperature conditions. Silicon oxide (SiO) has great potential as a high‐capacity anode for lithium‐ion batteries, but its practical use is limited by excessive volume expansion (>200%) and rapid capacity fade, especially at high temperatures.

Fluorination Engineering for Stable Interfacial Chemistry in Deep Eutectic Amide‐Based Electrolytes Enables High‐Performance LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2/Li Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
The fluoroamide‐based deep eutectic electrolyte with fluoroethylene carbonate efficiently enhances the safety performance of Ni‐rich ternary lithium metal batteries. Fluoroethylene carbonate undergoes preferential reaction at the electrode surface, forming a LiF‐rich interphase layer that contributes to enhanced long‐term cycling performance of the ...

Flexible ionic pressure sensors: From migration‐electronic mechanisms to emerging iontronic paradigms

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
Mechanisms, materials, structures, and applications of the FIPSs. Abstract Flexible ionic pressure sensors (FIPS) have emerged as promising candidates for bridging the gap between electronics and biologically compatible interfaces. Unlike previous reviews, which focused primarily on materials or devices, this review presents a classification of FIPS ...

Cross‐cultural variations in executive function impairments among children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder

open access: yesJCPP Advances, EarlyView.
This study explores the role of culture in executive function (EF) deficits in children with ADHD by comparing Chinese and Australian populations. Using rigorous methodologies such as propensity score matching and consistent diagnostic procedures, the research reveals distinct EF profiles, including a subgroup of Chinese children with severe EF ...
