Buxus sempervirens L. Artbeschreibung: 0,5-2(-4) m hoher, immergrüner Strauch. Blätter oval, ganzrandig, lederig, 1-2,5 cm lang, oberseits dunkel, unterseits heller grün, Rand nach unten gebogen. Blüten gelbgrün, ca. 2 mm lang, in büscheligen Blütenständen mit je einer weiblichen und 5-6 männlichen Blüten.
